Museum Huis Doorn is a national museum. Its operations are managed by the Foundation for the Management of Huis Doorn. Additionally, there is a Friends of Huis Doorn Foundation, which aims to support the museum both financially and in kind.

The core task of the Foundation for the Management of Huis Doorn is to preserve, manage, and present the national collection as a steward.

The Friends Foundation provides support to Museum Huis Doorn both financially and through activities.
